The stage is a compact event space for academic lectures, discussions, screenings, workshops, and small-scale performances. Lighting, sound, and projection equipment are available right in the room, allowing events to be held on-site and, if needed, documented or recorded.

Equipment

The room accommodates around 45 people and combines a small stage area with easily controllable lighting, audio, and presentation technology. A lectern and tables are available for presentations and discussions.

Examples

The stage has already been used for workshops, film screenings, discussions, and research settings. The examples show how the room can be used for academic events, audiovisual presentations, and focus groups.

• International Workshop: The Stories (in the) Constructed – Workshop on memory, history, narratives, and built environments with international contributions.
• To be Continued – Film screening followed by a discussion on the documentary about the State Theatre in Hong Kong.
• Sign Language in Focus – Focus groups and video material for a research project on sign language avatars and accessibility.
• East Asia as a Psychological Landscape – Film screening and workshop on geographical, historical, and personal landscapes in East Asia.
