Das Tobii User Meeting "Eye-Tracking in den Geisteswissenschaften", das am 24. Februar 2023 hybrid im MediaLab und online stattfand, war ein Tag voller Ideen und Erkenntnisse zur Messung des menschlichen Blickverhaltens. Etwa 40 Teilnehmer*innen hatten die Gelegenheit verschiedene Anwendungsgebiete und Technologien kennenzulernen.
Am Vormittag gab es Präsentationen zu den Themen: Teaching Tobii - Eye tracking in education (Jörg Mühlhans, MediaLab), Walking through the City: Mobile eye tracking and aesthetic experiences in Viennese streets (Kirren Chana und Margot Dehove, EVALab), 234 x 77: Mapping the museum from Gerstl to Schiele (Carola Korhummel, CReA Lab) und eine Panel-Diskussion mit den Vortragenden.
Nach einem gemeinsamen Mittagessen ging es praktisch mit diversen interaktiven Workshops weiter: Peter Reuter, Maike Mügge und Saga Svensson (Tobii Team) präsentierten bildschirmbasierte und mobile Tracker sowie die Analysesoftware "Tobii Pro Lab" und Nils Betzler (Qualisys Team) führte die Einbindung der mobilen Tobii Glasses 3 in das Motion-Capture-System von Qualisys vor.

The Tobii User Meeting "Eye-Tracking in the Humanities", which took place on 24 February 2023 hybrid in the MediaLab and online, was a day full of ideas and insights into measuring human gaze behaviour. About 40 participants had the opportunity to learn about different application areas and technologies.
In the morning there were presentations on the topics: Teaching Tobii - Eye tracking in education (Jörg Mühlhans, MediaLab), Walking through the City: Mobile eye tracking and aesthetic experiences in Viennese streets (Kirren Chana and Margot Dehove, EVALab), 234 x 77: Mapping the museum from Gerstl to Schiele (Carola Korhummel, CReA Lab) and a panel discussion with all speakers.
After lunchbreak, the practical part continued with various interactive workshops: Peter Reuter, Maike Mügge and Saga Svensson (Tobii Team) presented screen-based and mobile trackers as well as the analysis software "Tobii Pro Lab" and Nils Betzler (Qualisys Team) demonstrated the integration of the mobile Tobii Glasses 3 into Qualisys' motion capture system.
